Position:
Marketing Assistant
Details:
To approach support groups and organizations across the country, either via
e-mail or by phone, asking them to spread to their members news of
Homeschooling Horizons Magazine; to encourage their members to subscribe,
and to offer each group incentives: for each group
willing to announce/provide space for a free ad for Homeschooling Horizons
in their member newsletter, Homeschooling Horizons will give one (1) 5-month
subscription (half year) to be either drawn or gifted by the organization.
Upon proof of announcement/ad space provided by organization, Marketing
Assistant will be compensated.
Compensation:

Position:
Advertising Assistant
Details:
To contact Canadian businesses that would be family/homeschool friendly (ie:
bookstores, suppliers etc) and invite them to advertise within the Magazine.
Obtain their mailing/contact information and send it along to our offices
so that we might send them a Media Guide. A follow-up phone call will also
be required 2 weeks after mailing to check in with the business so as to
assure that the contract is signed and returned. Upon payment from the
business, Advertising Assistant will be compensated.
